The Artist

Dawn Tenny-Muncy is a Master Photographer, Master Artist, and Photographic Craftsman whose work blends technical mastery with a deep reverence for place, history, and story. Based in Enid, Oklahoma, she has spent more than two decades creating images that move beyond documentation into interpretation, revealing the character and quiet narrative within the spaces and people she photographs.

Her work has been recognized nationally through the Professional Photographers of America, where she holds multiple advanced degrees and was named a PPA Affiliate Juror Emeritus, reflecting both her artistic achievements and her long-standing contributions to the photographic community. Known for her meticulous craftsmanship and thoughtful creative approach to image-making, Dawn brings the same level of intention to both commissioned portrait work and her personal fine-art projects.

Skyscraper of the Plains represents one of her most ambitious undertakings to date. Through photography, storytelling, and historical exploration, the project seeks to preserve and reinterpret one of the region’s most iconic structures. Dawn’s images invite viewers to slow down and look closely—discovering the textures, details, and echoes of time embedded within the limestone walls of this remarkable building.
